Bell-Booth Crumble contains the trace elements and minerals young stock need to help their growth and development.
Dairy heifers and beef cattle are typically grazed on an all-grass diet. Because New Zealand pastures are often deficient in the minerals required to support liveweight gains, Crumble fills the gap.
Wintering cows need support during the cold wet months and late stages of pregnancy. If your herd does not have access to water-treated trace element and mineral supplementation during the dry period, Crumble provides an adlib option.
Pour the Crumble into a feed trough every 4 days and allow the animals to access as required.
Daily Feeding Rates:
Feed 15g per 100kg of animal live weight
Young stock (6 months) R2 heifers (300kg) Mature cows
allocate 20 – 30g/calf/day allocate 45g/animal/day allocate 50 – 70g/cow/day
If adding Crumble to meal or other feeds, calculate the amount of Crumble required at the desired daily dose rate and sprinkle it over the feed supplement.
