Copper Chelate formulation is designed to provide copper in an available form for cattle grazing pastures with imbalances or elevated zinc levels when dosing for facial eczema control.

Bell-Booth Copper Chelate provides an effective source of copper when situations such as high iron and molybdenum are present or high soil pH preventing copper-sulphate based products working effectively.

Copper is essential for blood production, immune and enzyme systems and vital for the formation of 10 vital enzymes involved in the body, bone, wool growth, pigmentation and operation of the nervous system. Copper is stored in the liver and released as required.

Dairy cows are particularly susceptible to copper deficiency. Cows deficient in copper often show signs of dull hair colour, poor reproductive system, failure to be oestrous and poor growth.

Dose rate:

Cattle: 2-4 mL/cow/day (based on a 500 kg animal).

Deer: 0.5mL-1mL/head/day

Pasture Spraying:

Bell-Booth Copper Chelate can also be pasture sprayed at 2-3 litres/ha depending on copper status. Apply to 1/3 - 1/2 of the required area. Application one week after grazing gives best results.

WARNING

CAUTION: COPPER STATUS IN SHEEP

Copper status in the liver of sheep may be quite variable. There is a risk of copper poisoning, resulting in death, following copper supplementation, in some instances. Care should be taken if exposing sheep to copper-treated pasture.
