The MilkTaxi blends advanced technology with practical functionality to reduce heavy lifting on-farm. It keeps milk warm, has an optional pasteurisation feature and dispenses milk into calf feeding systems, eliminating the need for farmers to lift heavy buckets of milk. Its stable four-wheel design guarantees smooth travel, even over uneven terrain and when fully loaded. Available in two models, 260L and 400L, and with three different drive options: push, electric drive or trailer, the MilkTaxi revolutionises bucket feeding on-farm.
Pasteurising at a temperature of 63 °C for 35 minutes using the batch method destroys 99.5 % of the dangerous pathogens. As an alternative to this programme, the MilkTaxi offers two different heat treatment methods at 60 °C for 60 or 70 minutes. All the starting times can be freely programmed. The result is that the milk has already been pasteurised when you arrive in the shed for feeding in the morning.
Warming milk
The MilkTaxi mixes any milk replacer lump-free in seconds. It warms milk using a surface heater over the entire base area. Unlike with spiral heaters, this prevents the occurrence of "hotspots" where milk can burn and stick. This means that the milk heats up quickly while maintaining its quality. The display keeps you informed about the temperature of the milk.
Simple dispensing
With 9 freely programmable dosing levels you can dispense almost any feed quantity – without any annoying dripping. In addition, the handle has been ergonomically adapted and is nice and light. Thanks to the integrated battery, you are independent of the power supply near the calves. This leaves you completely flexible to feed calves in different places.
Easier transportation
Easy milk transport is a key labour-saving feature. Available drive options include push, electric drive and trailer. You can move both models forwards and backwards at two different speeds using the stepless electrical drive. This not only makes calf feeding fun, but it also goes easy on your back.
Stable 4-wheel undercarriage
The MilkTaxi is extremely stable on 4 wheels with a low centre of gravity. It does not topple over even when moved quickly, over uneven terrain and fully loaded. Unevenness or small thresholds are not a problem thanks to the 40 cm front wheels and the generous ground clearance. The front wheels of the MilkTaxi can also be fitted with tractor tread tyres for an increase in grip. This option can be useful for farms where very soft or even muddy ground needs to be negotiated to reach the calves.
