Elthamol is the tradename of a product that was made for many years in Eltham, a little town situated in the Taranaki Region of New Zealand, by the Eltham Rennet Company.
Eltham is famous for a range of fabulous cheeses and if you like cheese, we recommend you check them out. The original ‘Elthamol’ is a teat ointment designed and made by the Eltham Rennet Company but now made by Bell-Booth Limited in Palmerston North.
Elthamol Teat Salve is a teat emolument designed for use in dairy cattle. It prevents bacterial infection and promotes healing of damaged teats, cuts, sores, windburn, sunburn. It also assists prevent brittle hooves.
